Men's Ministry

We believe that once our men have a clear vision of who they are and their God given authority, they will be able to bring the family to a new dimension. This would help us to fight against the callous and satanic forces that come up against families.

Once our men stand on the word of God and in line with God’s mandate, the family unit will be a force to reckon with. As stated in St. Mark 3:27 No man can enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house. Therefore, it’s imperative for our men be in line with God’s divine plan for their lives.
When Jesus walked the face of the earth it was interesting that he had only men as his disciples.

More interestingly is the fact that God first made a man and from that man he made a woman. With that being said, it’s imperative for men to rise to the occasion and be the pillars of society as it was ordained from the beginning of creation.

In saying this, it’s not to belittle women, but it’s to show that men ought to be men!

Rightfully so, as the saying goes…behind every successful man is a woman! This saying was said to have originated back in the 1940’s and it still holds true to date.

We know that women have been in many cases, outdoing the men. This is simply because the men are shirking their responsibilities.

But as we men strive to be the role models for the upcoming future leaders, it behooves us to be totally committed to the cause of Christ with both hands on deck. As we do so, we ask God to give us divine inspiration and the foresight we need to be truly connected to the source which is Christ Jesus.

The bible states in 1 John 2:14 “I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.” The bible also states in Judges 6:12 “And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him, and said unto him, The LORD is with thee, thou mighty man of valour.” 

This was in reference to Gideon who thought he was nothing or couldn’t do anything really. Until he had that encounter with God through an angel. We believe in this to the core, therefore as men, we need to hold the blood-stained banner of Jesus Christ and keep it flying high for all the world to see and come to glorify him!

It is with these goals and objectives in mind that we the men at Family Rescue International Ministries join hands, hearts and forces together in being dedicated to the mission of God. We follow the teachings of the scriptures that endorses prayer, fasting, and studying the word of God. We plan outreach programs in our community so that we can win the lost at any cost for the Kingdom of God.

As true mighty men of valour with a passion and zeal for God, we work closely with the leadership of this Organisation that’s both inspired and led by God Almighty. As we are truly connected to the source i.e. God Almighty; we aim to be an indelible support team to the leadership and a beacon to the young men looking on for real, genuine and authentic role models!

This we do by putting all our faith, trust and confidence in our Lord and Saviour: Jesus Christ who gives us the strength and ability.
